How Eilona won a fabulous trip to Australia

EILONA DIDN'T RECOGNISE THE ENVELOPE THAT LANDED ON HER DOOR... BUT WHEN SHE OPENED IT UP, SHE REALSIED SHE WAS A WINNER!

" I have entered competitions for some years now - and have won quite a few prizes, including a long weekend in Paris, a dishwasher, four bicycles, a fridge and quite a few other smaller, but still exciting, prizes.

Last year was a very poor year I entered the Co-op Australia Wines tie-breaker competition entry to win two weeks in Australia. I put a lot of effort into writing my tie-breaker and really gave it my all. I didn't hear anything for a week after the due notification day, so thought I'd missed my chance.

Nearly two weeks later I received a 2nd class letter with the Co-op logo on the envelope. I have to be honest, I really wasn't that excited. The letter had a second class stamp on it (previously my wining letters have been posted first class) and in my mind I had missed the great prize to Australia.

However, when I opened the letter, I realised I was one of the fortunate winners!

The Co-op couldn't have been better. They sent us on the most wonderful holiday to Australia, which was brilliantly organised; like clockwork.

As a way of saying thank you to Australia wines, we booked ourselves on a wine tasting trip to the Hunter Valley and had a splendid day tasting wines.

I used to live in Austrlia, and this holiday was a wonderful way for me to catch up with old school friends who I hadn't seen for years and years. My husband has never been to Australia so this was a fabulous trip for him."
