A luxury cruise in the exotic Caribbean islands – for free!

HOW SUSAN WON A CRUISE OF A LIFE-TIME!
White sandy beaches and crytal clear water- as the sunlight poured into her cabin, Suasn knew this was a prize of a life-time!
Susan rolled over and stared out across the balcony to catch a glimpse of white sandy beach and clear blue water. She was glad she left the curtains open a little last night as now the sunlight poured into the cabin.
The cruise ship had docked into Grand Stirrup Cay, The Norwegian Sky cruise liner’s private island in the Bahamas.
Sue walked out onto the balcony to take in the full view of the beautiful island – other cruisers were being taken ashore on tender boats, their brightly coloured sarongs, towels and beach-bags glistening in the sun – to enjoy a day of free water sports; scuba diving, waterskiing, snorkelling and windsurfing.
“I think I will be able to cope with this for a week,” she turned round and spoke to Bob who was reading his book, on the bed, already settling in to a week’s holiday on their luxury cruise.
It seemed like a lifetime ago they were at Manchester airport, in the drizzly morning rain – facing an 8hr delay to Miami airport. Now, just two days later, they were sailing around the Caribbean – and best of all FOR FREE!
Looking around their deluxe cabin, Sue had to pinch herself to believe it was really true; a five-star en-suite cabin, with private balcony onboard the grand Norwegian Sky cruise liner. And, all completely free from winning a full house whilst playing bingo online!
Sue’s local bingo hall was about three miles away, and so she hardly ever went – so when she heard about playing bingo online, it seemed worth a look at least. She had to admit, it was perfect; all the fun of playing at a hall, a very sociable chat room to talk with other players, and all from the comfort of your own home!
Sue couldn’t believe it when she had won her first full house, having all the numbers on her card called out before anyone else. Then when the chat room masters starting checking her numbers, as they were sure she’d won the bonus prize – a luxury cruise – she was frozen speechless! She couldn’t tell hubby Bob until she knew for sure!
Now here they were, actually on the Caribbean cruise, and she knew it was going to be an amazing holiday.
It was two days into the holiday and Sue felt totally relaxed. Bob and her had tried out most of the luxury onboard facilities; Jacuzzi, pool… fabulous cocktail bars and were ready to go onshore at the next island stop; Tortola, in the British Virgin Islands.
The bright colourful taxis took other cruisers off along the steep winding mountain roads – where the views are spectacular, but Sue was pleased that her and Bob took in the island at their own pace, strolling along the bevy of beautiful beaches and soaking in the West Indian reggae music filling the streets.
That night, Sue discovered another gem onboard the cruise liner; the casino! And guess what – a bingo night! She had to go along, especially as the prize of the week was a luxury cruise for two!
Spending time in the casino was a real treat for Sue, as it was her time to enjoy relaxing and unwinding her own way. Bob could read, watch films and enjoy the things he liked, knowing that he didn’t have to worry about her coming home late and being safe. She knew that back home, Bob would only go to the casino for her, so this way they both got to have fun doing what they wanted!
Before returning to Miami, the ship stopped at St Thomas Island and Samana in Dominica – both beautiful islands. They were greeted by the locals with music and entertainment, setting a perfect vibe to enjoy exploring the tiny island streets. Sue couldn’t get over how many lovely jewellery shops were on St Thomas Island – and spend a good few hours doing what she does best; shopping!
“I am not sure I can leave this life,” Sue grumbled to Bob as they disembarked The Norwegian Sky for the last time that week – only this was not onto an exotic island but back to Miami, to start their trip home. The crew waved them off, as courteous and helpful as they had been the whole week; they had created a warm, friendly atmosphere on the ship.
Even Bob, who doesn’t enjoy Bingo as much as her, had admitted to Sue last night, that winning prizes like this was a message to all bingo players – keep on playing IT COULD BE YOU NEXT TIME!
